Munchies is a side project designed to inspire people to cook more often. With busy schedules and the fast pace of life, it can be challenging to dedicate time to cooking and learning new recipes. Yet, more people are recognizing the benefits of home-cooked meals. The biggest hurdle? Getting started. Munchies aims to make that easier by offering a space where users can find inspiration, discover new recipes, and connect with a community that shares the same goals.

Effortless Recipe Discovery

On the landing page, users can explore recipes by category and prep time, browse curated collections, and even upload their own creations. The goal is to inspire users with an easy-to-navigate, aesthetically organized experience that makes discovering recipes effortless and takes into account the context of the users.

The user can search for recipes by category, prep time, number of ingredients, or specific ingredients—making it easy to find meals that fit their needs and what they already have.

The user can explore their favorite authors' profiles to see all their uploaded recipes, follower count, and curated recipe collections—making it easy to dive deeper into their culinary world.

Add Recipe

The user can add a title, images, ingredients, and step-by-step directions when uploading a recipe. Each recipe is then structured consistently across the app for a seamless browsing experience.
