About
I’m Per Kristian, a product designer with a passion for creating intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences.
Before stepping into the world of design, I spent 8 years immersed in music production, collaborating with both Danish and international signed artists. That journey taught me how to shape emotion and connect with audiences in a meaningful way. It also gave me a strong foundation in creative collaboration — working closely with others to bring ideas to life under real-world constraints.
I hold a Master’s degree (Cand. MSc.) in Digital Design and Interactive Technologies from the IT University of Copenhagen, where I also main-authored a published research article. My academic background gave me a solid foundation in both critical thinking and technical execution, and sparked a strong interest in data-driven design — using research and analytics to guide decisions and improve real-world impact.
At the core of my practice is a desire to solve real-world problems—whether that means making complex systems feel simple, improving accessibility, or designing tools that make someone’s day just a little bit easier. I believe great design starts with listening: to users, to context, and to data. My goal is always to create solutions that are not only functional and beautiful, but also meaningful.
I've been lucky enough to work on projects that have led to tangible results, including increased user retention, longer time spent on platforms, and more frequent user sessions. These outcomes are a testament to my belief that thoughtful, user-centered design can drive both engagement and value.
